We are experiencing an era of protest. Countless demonstrations on issues surrounding climate and environment have distinctively shaped the past few years. The form of protest, however, differs across generation, location, and political orientation. But how do Fridays for Future, the Last Generation, and similar groups "do protest"? Twelve scholars share their observations on topics such as civil disobedience, protest encampments, and the interactions between protest movements and the state.
